I am pleased to welcome you to the Marrero Harvey Vol. Fire Co.#1 website.
The Marrero Harvey Vol. Fire Co. #1 is one of three fire Companies in the 8th Fire Protection District of Jefferson Parish, on the Westbank of the Mississippi River. Operating out of three fire stations the Department covers 20 miles and has a population served of 62,000 residents.
The Marrero Harvey Vol. Fire Department is and outstanding organization of 45 dedicated members 20 paid personnel and 25 volunteer members. It is proud to be recognized as a Class 2 Department from the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana. The Fire Department operates divisions in Fire Suppression, Rescue, HazMat, Fire Prevention and Education. In 2011 The Department has responded to over 600 calls for service.
